Downtown Photomarathon Picture of Success

On May 6, 14 photographers set out, themes in hand, to begin their trek through Downtown Houston looking for creative inspiration in Focused Frame's first Houston photomarathon.

The four themes for the day were: participant number, mothers, new beginnings, and opposites.

The winner in the Participant Number category is participant number 3, Norma Rosas, with the photograph of the 3 baseballs.

The winner in the Mothers category is participant number 94, Laurie Ballesteros, with the photograph of the statue of the mother with the downtown background.

The winner in the Opposites category is participant number 6, Dennis McGinn, with the photograph of the old and new architecture.

The winner in the New Beginnings category is participant number 11, Roy Hill, with the photograph of the overview of the downtown building site.

The winner of the Overall Best Photo of the day is participant number 5, Greta Mee, with her participant number picture illustrating the 5 points of the Bank of America Building.
